Bees give the Spark of Life in Honey and provide pollinators to the environment, biodiversity, or in short, the LIFE. They are the hardworking pollinators that deliver a bounty to humans and other animals. The whole process of honey making is so smooth. The bee factory runs way more efficiently than the human factory does. To make honey, each bee has to go through this hectic and elongated pollination process. First, bees have to throw a visit flowers to collect sugary liquid called nectar. This nectar is collected in her special honey stomach, separated from her food stomach. And designed naturally to carry honey to the hives.
Nector Collection
While collecting nectar, if this tiny little buzz feels hungry, it opens up a valve in the nectar sac. And the portion of the nectar is passed through to her food stomach for her energy fill. They’re fantastic flyers and carry up the mass of nectar almost equal to their weight with being perfectly airborne. When the nectar sac is full, they return to the hive, where the indoor bees are in action. The outdoor bee delivers the nectar to the indoor bee, and a regurgitation process of transferring nectar mouth to mouth begins. It continues until the nectar loses moisture and turns into honey. It is then shifted to the honeycomb and capped with beeswax.
The smooth running of this process requires an efficient number of bees in a bee colony. The Queen Honey Bee heads this colony and has to mate with an average of 12 males. It lays up to 1500 eggs a day to get several bees to run the process more effectively and systematically. This proper management requires a lot of devotion and suffering.Especially from a female queen bee responsible for running the colony and providing us with raw honey.
