Zaitoon Oil (Olive Oil)

7 Ways to Use Olive Oil at Suhoor

7 Benefits of Extra Virgin Olive Oil for Suhoor

Suhoor is the meal that has to carry you through a long fasting day, and many Pakistani families are looking for lighter, simpler ways to cook it. Olive oil is an easy swap. Here are seven ways to use it at suhoor.

What Makes Cold-Pressed Olive Oil Special?

Cold-pressed olive oil is extracted mechanically from fresh olives, without heat or chemical solvents, so it keeps its natural colour, aroma and peppery flavour. Buzzin e Zaitoon is cold-pressed from early-harvest wild olives grown in Balochistan.

Tips

  • Keep the heat medium; very high heat spoils olive oil’s flavour.

  • Drink plenty of water at suhoor.
  • If you have a medical condition, speak to your doctor before fasting.
