Shaftal Soul is a clover honey, produced when bees forage on the flowers of the shaftal (clover) plant. Clover makes one of the lightest, mildest honeys: pale in the jar, clean on the palate, with gentle floral sweetness and no sharp aftertaste.
We offer Shaftal Soul raw and cold-extracted, with nothing added and nothing taken out: no sugar, no glucose syrup, no heating. Just honey the way the bees made it.
Its mild character makes it the most versatile honey in our range. It stirs into tea or coffee without overpowering them, spreads well on toast, and works in baking where a stronger honey would dominate.
All-natural honey crystallises over time, especially at cooler temperatures. This is completely normal and a sign that your honey is pure and unprocessed. To make it runny again, stand the jar in warm water for a few minutes.
