Honey Price in Pakistan 2026: What Pure Honey Actually Costs per Kg
The honey price in Pakistan in 2026 ranges from roughly ₨ 1,400 to ₨ 8,000 per kilogram for pure, single-origin honey, depending mostly on the variety. Sidr sits at the top, while acacia, clover and orange blossom sit near the bottom. Anything far below those ranges deserves a closer look. This guide shows what each variety should cost, explains why, and lists every Buzzin Beez price so you can compare.
Honey Price in Pakistan: The Short Answer
Here is the fair range per kilogram for the main varieties sold in Pakistan. These figures assume a 500 g or 1 kg jar, because smaller jars always cost more per kilogram.
| Variety | Fair range per kg | Below this, ask questions |
|---|---|---|
| Sidr / Beri (بیری کا شہد) | ₨ 3,000 to ₨ 8,000 | ₨ 3,000 |
| Acacia / Palosa (پلوسہ کا شہد) | ₨ 1,400 to ₨ 3,500 | ₨ 1,400 |
| Ajwain (اجوائن کا شہد) | ₨ 1,800 to ₨ 3,500 | ₨ 1,800 |
| Clover / Shaftal (شفتل کا شہد) | ₨ 1,500 to ₨ 3,000 | ₨ 1,500 |
| Orange blossom / Malta (مالٹے کا شہد) | ₨ 1,500 to ₨ 3,000 | ₨ 1,500 |
In short, if you know the variety, you can judge a price in seconds. The rest of this guide explains where these numbers come from.
How to Work Out the Price per Kg Yourself
Brands sell honey in different jar sizes, so the sticker price alone tells you very little. To compare fairly, always convert to a price per kilogram. The formula is short: divide the jar price by its weight in grams, then multiply by 1,000.
For example, a 500 g jar at ₨ 1,096 works out to ₨ 2,192 per kg. Likewise, a 250 g jar at ₨ 829 works out to ₨ 3,316 per kg. Once you have that number, compare it with the fair range for the variety in the table above. That single step answers most questions about the honey price in Pakistan, because it removes the effect of jar size and clever packaging.
Also watch out for a few common tricks:
- Odd jar sizes: a 400 g or 450 g jar priced close to a 500 g jar looks cheaper than it is.
- Weight including the jar: check that the label states the net weight of honey, not the gross weight with glass.
- “Buy two” offers: work out the per-kg price of the bundle before assuming it is a saving.
In other words, whenever you see a honey price in Pakistan that seems unusually low or high, convert it first and judge it second.
Honey Prices by Variety in 2026
Each variety has its own price because each one behaves differently in the hive and in the market. Below is what drives the honey price in Pakistan for each of them. Knowing these reasons also helps you spot a pure honey price in Pakistan that does not add up.
Sidr (Beri) Honey
Sidr is the most expensive honey in Pakistan. The Sidr tree flowers for only a few weeks each year, and each hive produces a small harvest during that window. On top of that, demand is high because Sidr is the traditional gifting honey in many Pakistani families. As a result, genuine Sidr rarely sells below ₨ 3,000 per kg, and premium lots from Karak can reach ₨ 8,000. Our guide to beri ka shehad benefits and price covers Sidr pricing in more detail.
Acacia (Palosa) Honey
Palosa (phulai) trees grow widely across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, and they flow generously. Consequently, acacia is one of the more affordable single-origin honeys, usually between ₨ 1,400 and ₨ 3,500 per kg. Its light taste and slow crystallisation also make it popular for everyday use. For a closer look, read our article on palosa honey and the acacia tree.
Ajwain Honey
Ajwain (carom) honey comes from a seasonal crop with a shorter bloom, so supply is tighter than acacia. Therefore, it usually costs between ₨ 1,800 and ₨ 3,500 per kg.
Clover (Shaftal) and Orange Blossom (Malta) Honey
Clover fields and Malta orchards both produce large volumes of nectar. For that reason, these two honeys sit at the lower end, typically ₨ 1,500 to ₨ 3,000 per kg. Similarly, both have a mild flavour that suits daily use in tea and cooking.
Lavender Honey
Lavender honey is rare in Pakistan, and only a handful of sellers offer it. Because there are so few listings, there is no reliable market range to quote. Instead, judge it against Ajwain and Sidr: it should not cost less than common acacia or clover honey.
Why Pure Honey Costs What It Does
The pure honey price in Pakistan comes down to three things: how long the flowers bloom, whether the honey is single-origin, and whether it has been heated.
Bloom Length and Yield per Hive
Beekeepers move their hives to follow each bloom. A long, heavy flow, such as acacia or clover, fills many frames, so the cost per kilogram falls. In contrast, a short bloom like Sidr gives each hive only a little honey before the flowers fade. Moving hives, feeding bees between flows and transporting the harvest all cost the same either way, so short-bloom honeys carry a higher price.
Single-Origin Against Blended
A single-origin honey comes from one main flower in one region. It has to be harvested at the right time and kept separate, which takes more work. Blended honey, on the other hand, mixes several sources, often including cheap imports, into one uniform product. Blending lowers the price, but it also removes the flavour and traceability that make honey worth buying.
Raw Against Heat-Processed
Raw honey is extracted cold and only lightly strained, so it keeps its aroma, pollen and enzymes. Heat-processed honey is warmed so it pours easily, fills faster and stays liquid on a shelf. Heating saves money on a production line. However, it also destroys enzymes and flattens the flavour. That is why raw honey usually costs more, and why natural crystallisation is a good sign rather than a defect.
When a Price Is Too Good to Be True
The most useful rule for the original honey price in Pakistan is simple: compare the price per kg against the variety, not against honey in general. For example, ₨ 1,600 per kg is a fair price for clover honey. Yet the same ₨ 1,600 for a jar labelled Sidr should make you suspicious, because no beekeeper can produce genuine Sidr at that cost.
Below the “ask questions” figure in the table above, a honey may still be real, but you should check before you buy. Ask the seller:
- Which region and which flower does this honey come from?
- Is it raw, or was it heated or pasteurised?
- Is it single-origin, or blended?
- Can you explain why it costs less than other sellers?
Also, remember that cheap honey is often stretched with sugar syrup, corn syrup or glucose. Home tests such as the water, thumb and flame tests cannot reliably catch this. Only a laboratory can, and our guide to what honey lab tests check explains how.
Finally, a note on organic honey price in Pakistan: Pakistan has no organic certification programme for honey. So a higher price for a jar labelled “organic” does not buy you anything that a lab or a certificate has confirmed.
Buzzin Beez Prices by Variety and Size
Here is every Buzzin Beez honey in every size, with the price per kilogram for each jar. All six varieties sit inside the fair ranges above when you buy the 500 g jar.
| Variety | 150 g | 250 g | 500 g | Per kg (150 g / 250 g / 500 g) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bairy Nectar (Sidr) | ₨ 799 | ₨ 1,259 | ₨ 2,250 | ₨ 5,327 / ₨ 5,036 / ₨ 4,500 |
| Relaxic Lavender | ₨ 625 | ₨ 829 | ₨ 1,399 | ₨ 4,167 / ₨ 3,316 / ₨ 2,798 |
| Herbalicious Ajwain | ₨ 549 | ₨ 799 | ₨ 1,325 | ₨ 3,660 / ₨ 3,196 / ₨ 2,650 |
| Shaftal Soul (Clover) | ₨ 499 | ₨ 699 | ₨ 1,125 | ₨ 3,327 / ₨ 2,796 / ₨ 2,250 |
| Pureganic Malta (Orange Blossom) | ₨ 497 | ₨ 695 | ₨ 1,099 | ₨ 3,313 / ₨ 2,780 / ₨ 2,198 |
| Goldy Palosa (Acacia) | ₨ 495 | ₨ 645 | ₨ 1,096 | ₨ 3,300 / ₨ 2,580 / ₨ 2,192 |
Prices last checked: 6 November 2026. Notice how the 150 g jar costs noticeably more per kilogram. The glass, label and packing cost almost the same whatever the size, so the small jar works best as a way to try a flavour. Once you know what you like, the 500 g jar gives you the best value.
If you want to compare before committing, the Tasting Pack contains three 150 g jars of Bairy Nectar, Herbalicious Ajwain and Goldy Palosa for ₨ 1,749. Bought separately, those three jars would cost ₨ 1,843. You can browse everything in the Buzzin Beez shop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the honey price in Pakistan per kg in 2026?
For pure, single-origin honey, expect roughly ₨ 1,400 to ₨ 3,500 per kg for acacia, clover, Malta and ajwain, and ₨ 3,000 to ₨ 8,000 per kg for Sidr. Prices below those ranges deserve questions.
Why is Sidr honey so expensive?
The Sidr tree blooms for only a few weeks, and each hive yields a small harvest. Combined with strong demand for gifting, that keeps genuine Sidr above ₨ 3,000 per kg.
What is the real honey price in Pakistan for everyday use?
Everyday honeys such as acacia, clover and Malta usually cost ₨ 1,500 to ₨ 3,000 per kg. At Buzzin Beez, a 500 g jar of Goldy Palosa costs ₨ 1,096, which works out to ₨ 2,192 per kg.
Is cheap honey always fake?
No, but a price far below the fair range for that variety is a warning sign. A cheap clover honey can be genuine, whereas a cheap “Sidr” almost never is.
What is the honey price in Karachi?
Buzzin Beez prices are the same across Pakistan, from ₨ 495 for a 150 g jar of Goldy Palosa to ₨ 2,250 for a 500 g jar of Bairy Nectar. Delivery in Karachi adds ₨ 50 to ₨ 200, depending on weight.
Why does a small jar cost more per kg?
Glass, labels and packing cost almost the same for a small jar as for a large one. Because of that, a 150 g jar always works out more expensive per kilogram than a 500 g jar.
